Can you grant us the ability to sheath our weapons? It would mostly offer RP opportunities, but you could have it offer mechanical advantages/disadvantages too.

The difference between simply removing the weapons is that when attacked you'd automatically draw them. Maybe allow the attacker a free round (if they murder) without the defender having them drawn, but afterwards the defender draws, even if lagged by bash, etc. When sheathed, you obviously can't attack until you draw (exception could made for hand specs maybe).

I just think it'd be a relatively simple change that would add a bit more flavour. Tribunals for example could make a Law about no one wielding weapons, although it would require warning the criminal instead of just marking them ASAP. Bouncers at the Inn could autoattack anyone who draws their weapons (after a slight delay). Perhaps certain mobs simply won't let you pass or interact (quests/shops) with weapons drawn.
