9487, Phase Door is a misnomer

It seemed like any door I'd want to phase through, ie those that I couldn't pass through, were "protected by yada yadas and hippidy bippidys. Door to opal wands? Non-phase doorable. Door west of the spirit-knight? Non-phase doorable. Would it be too overpowering to allow conjurers the small concession of making all doors phase-doorable?

Yes, I know phase door is useful for getting passed aggro mobs or Centurions or up into Talshidar when you don't have a fly potion, but come on!

Briefly, yes.

9494, I really can't agree with this one.

Having played many conjurers to hero I feel confident in saying phase door is extremely useful as is and is used a LOT. The few places where it is not able to be used are places for balance and/or because it makes sense. You don't want conjurers having free reign to bypass killing the BIG ass mob for the key to the door. And roleplay wise places like certain slave pens you would expect to have magical protection on. For the balance side, you wouldn't want conjurers having free reign to the various guilds or cabals. I haven't see very many cases where it didn't make sense.
