7428, Bash enhancement

After listening to one of my friends complain about being bashed in the low 20s for 13 rounds in a row successfully (whether or not this was accurate or not, I do not know), having been the victim of gangs whose only tactic is bash, bash, bash, bash, and after having used the tactic in a group against a single foe, I've come to the conclusion that a slight change would make things more... interesting. While I agree that bash is a simple tactic and, when used effectively and consistently, can help you win many a pk fight, there's something that seems less than realistic. Also, I remember a particular fight where the only damage I received was from the bashing up towards the end when they disarmed (or weaponbroke) my weapon. Personally, I'd prefer the tactic they used last because it at least would mean that I could put in one command before having to flee or die.
Here's what I propose. Not lessen the effects of bash or the lag time involved, but allow a very small chance that the person bashed is sent flying out of the room. The percentage would be based on the consequetive times a person is bashed, the size of each person, and the weight carried. I know changes have been made to bash recently causing a less frequent chance of getting bashed when you're under level 25, but adhering to one simple tactic just seems... boring. Spice things up and fight to the death by pitting skill against skill. Bash is a nice lagging technique, but there are plenty of other things people could be doing that are never used.
Questions, comments, burns are all welcome.

Conversely, there are multiple things you can do to make bashing you either:
1) Not possible, or 2) Not a good idea

Every time I've died so far has been from bash...Bash...BASH. I'm still a noob so I should probably be losing but it's not exactly a technical defeat.
So please enlighten me and tell me how I can make bashing me not possible or not a good idea. Btw I'm an assassin, in case that affects my options or for some reason makes me easily bashable.

Well, from the Bash helpfile, you know that weight carried and size are important. One way to deal with Bash is to find a way to change your size, either by making friends with a transmuter, or finding potions or edibles that do this.
Carrying a lot of weight is another idea, but if you read the helpfile on Dodge (which is very important for a DEX-based guy like an assassin), you can see that has a significant tradeoff. This might be a good plan for a different character, but might not do much for you.
However, your trump cards in a matchup with nearly all people with Bash are Hide, Sneak, and Heightened Awareness: You should always be able to see them coming, and they frequently shouldn't see you coming. You may not feel like you can go toe-to-toe with a warrior in a brawl, but that's what warriors are best at. Toss in a little surprise and timing, and things may be very much in your favor.
Finally, remember that someone using Bash isn't doing anything else besides normal combat hits to win the fight. If you can punish them for missed attempts, slip useful commands (like getting their weapon away from them) in between their bashes where possible, or just take them toe-to-toe, you can swing things in your favor. Quoth someone else regarding Bash's friend Trip, "That's the skill that lands me the most kills... when I'm playing a shaman. It keeps them still while I land big communes every two rounds."
There's a large variety of other more subtle tricks (as one example, you can't Bash underwater) that you can learn either by:
1) Watching what others do and don't do. 2) Speaking with people In Character for tips. 3) Eventually, play a character with Bash and see how people beat you.

Bash lags you 1-4 rounds and the basher 2 rounds if hit and 3 rounds if miss. As you as an assassin have very nasty str/dex maledictions like kotegaeshi and kansetsuwaza, it is good idea to for a warrior to bash you in order to prevent those from landing (especially if the warrior wields a weapon that you do not know), as the warrior can usually take you down if the two of you fight toe to toe (with no special moves used on either side). Being hasted and all helps as well (use haste preps or make friends with a transmuter, whom you can ask to quicken your metabolism in the time of need).
Also, using enlarge and reduce preps to alter your size can help against bash (browse some apotecharies and alchemists in Thera to see what preps the shops offer, your transmuter friend is useful in this department as well). You can enlarge yourself to be larger than your opponent or reduce yourself to be smaller than the opponent(if the opponent is larger than you initially, such as giants, minotaurs and orcs), as if the opponent is more than one size bigger than you, he cannot bash you. Basically, if your warrior opponent wields an axe and gets to bash you successfully, you will be very likely to lose the fight.
When you outdamage your opponent with your automatical attacks, bashing you is not a good idea, though you would have to weaken your opponent first in order to do so as an assassin.

7431, I thought that bash effectiveness was toned down pre-25 just recently

Maybe just monitor the anti-gang code and check the numbers to see if it is working as effectively as intended.

I don't think this is something that needs to be changed.
