I think it's great the way "say" and "gtell" messages get colored differently, so they can be picked out of the travel spam. Any hopes of doing the same thing for emotes, so we can use them for on-the-go roleplay as well?

As a bonus, the color would also distinguish emote abuse from true combat messages.

I prefer the colorless emotes, it seems to blend in with the general theme of things. All other actions, like position changes, messing with containers, eating and drinking, moving, and combat actions are one color, why should a player-written action be different? It's still an action.
