71974, Scarab immortal induction - how feasible?

Kinda thinking of playing a Cultist. Been in and outta this MUD since '96, so I know Scarab sets a high bar and requires patience. I'm cool with that, but I'm a working stiff with two kids and a serious guitar problem now. If I try to get in am I going to go like a hundred hours uncaballed?

EDIT: Also, assume I know all my catechism and am working on the heptads from the moment I start.
