If you have been playing regularly (something like at least every other day) basically none of your limited shinies will go poof when you login again after just 9 days (and go back to playing regularly). YMMV, but that's been my experience.

Even if it all goes poof, rage deleting a high level character with skills trained over gear is dumb. :P
