6881, Quick nightgaunt question

Is it intended for nightgaunts to return prey to a conjurer who is in a no-recall area, or a no-recall maze? There are some areas like this that you used to be able to gaunt to, but can't now because they were considered to "cheap", right?

Yes.

Not that I'm aware of. One or two locations were eliminated as possibilities because they were seen as disproportionately difficult to deal with, but as far as I know none of them are of the type you describe.
