I've been thinking about this a little with the concept of XP based on mass murder and how that trains us as players to think about things in CF as just another thing to be killed. I don't have a recommendation or anything, but I think it is worth examining. What would change about CF if the primary way to gain XP was through PC to PC interaction? How would that change in mechanic affect a change in the way we think about CF. I've always maintained that CF is primarily a PK game, but perhaps more accurately it is a game about killing people for reward. That fundamental truth in mechanic says something not just about the way we play, but in the way we see other players and how we view the world. Just some thoughts.
