Why can felar not take Air or Water foci? They seem to be the only race with any restrictions, so I was curious.

But, seriously, I've posted maybe 1 or 2 shifter logs from when they were broken and that was a very long time ago. Do you keep a spreadsheet of what everyone has played or posted?

Felar are not traditionally a magic-using race. Felar shapeshifter was a much later expansion, and part of their non-traditional class addition was that given their nature, they can't pick foci that don't fit them as naturally.

Arials are pretty much considered just about as versatile as humans as far as magic goes, and we're an option from day one. Similar to how the previously unable to be rangers races have many less options compared to cloud, gnome, etc.

Same reason they can't be transmuters, invokers, conjurers and necromancers. Guildmasters are racist and won't let Felar study in their guilds / study particular areas of shapeshifting.
