I seem to recall, but could be mistaken, that in the past when a player outed their character themselves (even through ignorance) the character in question got denied. Now it is a complete #### thing to suggest that the outing has happened, but not the denial, but at the same time since the player seems *so* concerned about fair treatment, and is a complete cock about it, that he should be treated fairly, as he so obviously demands.

I personally wouldn't want to deal with the epic level ####storm tantrum the person will throw if they are denied, but as a mostly anonymous person who is somewhat tired of their ranting, I'll launch this rotten egg of a post. Also, because of fairness. I'd hate for them to be treated unfairly IC because they've leaked their player OOC and I'm sure they'd agree, since they are so concerned about fairness.

Because then the player will accuse you of cheating :)

The character in question is currently in the top tier of rewards due strictly to their IC merits. Being a jackass on the forums isn't a violation of the rules so it doesn't warrant any acknowledgement in the actual game.

As far as blowing up a character for outing themselves, we typically only do that in situations where someone rage deletes and makes a goodbye post on one of the forums and then attempts to re-activate.

Completely ignoring for the moment the original subject of my post. I believe that if I outted an orc I just rolled as being myself every interaction with said character would be colored (good and bad) by the OOC revelation... I believe that was once the thinking regarding outted characters, although I believe there was always some allowances made for well-established characters, since at that point the IC presence greatly outweighs any OOC nonsense.
