61623, How does a hero character simply disappear?

Other than logging in just to avoid auto the only way I can see is serious rules violations. Is there any other way?

I was asking about a character (not mine!) who was fairly prominent and then disappeared. I have the answer now and the rest is in game I think.
Peace, out.
61636, Answer is: Broke the rules and denied, most likely.

Or, as you said, logging in once a day 20-25 days apart to avoid autoing.
61652, He'd have "denied access" echo this way

Most likely he forgot his name :)

Level 51 characters don't just disappear, and if they do we have backups.

61628, I think the syntax is "c invis" n/t

.
61626, Dunno but it happened to me

I lost a spectre with a 100 percent pk record. Figured it was just a corruption (computer) issue and moved on.

I also had a 2000 exp role reward char whose role disappeared and I deleted as I knew I couldn't rewrite it as well as the first time.
61627, Hey, that's better than being accused of being a no-role griefer :)

Sorry, I had to.

PS I hate that ####ing bug.

They shouldn't. If you have an issue with a character send an email to imms@carrionfields.com with as much info as you can give so we can look into it.
