61195, What is the best weapon to parry barehanded attacks?

Thinking on a shifter-killing build here...

It's not the best parrier, but seems like mace would be good. For one, there's a nice anti-shifter mace if you can get it. Boneshatter messes them up, and they can't wear helmets so cranial should be extra effective.
Could maybe pair with spear. Impale, boneshatter two rounds later, then cranial spam two rounds after that.
Maybe pair with a legacy that plays off strength differential, if one exists.

61215, There's an anti-shifter spear too.

But we're not allowed to talk about it.

61197, Sorry, this isn't what I was asking about.

I want to know which weapon parries barehanded attacks best. Not which build defends best. That I'm going to figure out on my own.
To clarify again: parry, without any other factors such as flourintine or spin or distance or whatever. Which weapon parries unarmed attacks best?

Just a guess

61212, Would think so, but

I've been told that dagger parries unarmed attacks extremely well. Still not as well as sword?

61214, Dagger seems plausible

It does parry some stuff well.
