In fantasy writings of all kinds elves of any type are usually a powerful race filled with magic and inhuman abilities. What happened with CF Elves? I ask my fellow CFers to kindly and respectfully sign this petition for elves to get some KICK ASS INHERENTS! You know you want to code them Zhulgh. ;)

If you haven't noticed, elves have always had the best inherent skill in the game. Not to say there won't be more coming, but don't overlook the great stuff that's taken for granted with them.

I agree sneak is nice, but the best in the game? I'll take detect hidden any day of the week. I just think for the huge xp penaltly, lowest con, and worst vulnerability in the game that they would have more to balance it. I guess maybe I've been watching LOTR too much where elves actually make deadly warriors.

Detect hidden is great, but I see it as a great defensive inherent, and sneak as a fantastic offensive inherent.

As for making deadly warriors... for some reason, I can think of more deadly cf elf warriors than I can human/gnome/wood-elf/half-drow/half-elf/minotaur. Maybe that's just me, but for some reason, elf warriors, if played well, really stand out from the crowd.

Take an elf mace/axe spec that racks up 50-60 kills, people are going to remember. A fire giant sword spec with the same record and of equal deathfulness is going to be forgotten pretty quick

I have to agree with this. Sure you can make very powerfull Elves, but i feel something is lacking compared to other races.
