I have prayed probably a half dozen times over the Yeats to clarify if something was a bug. This is also not acceptable?

Makes it even more frustrating when bugs I have bug boarded are never resolved/posted if so. ( Talking about you, paladin virtue supplications, forge craft problems.)

If you pray, there is a good chance someone with the tools to verify if it is a bug or not will not see it, and it can get lost. The reason you should use the bug board is so that there is a "paper trail" of the issue as well as a log snippet or something that gives the bug squashing team something to go with.

I cannot speak for the rest of the staff, but I will often try and look into the prays that come up about whether or not something is a bug, and I will also try to relay the messages. But without there being the posts to the bug board, there is still a good chance it will not get a "formal investigation" for problems or fixed if there are problems present.

i've outted myself accidentally on the bug board

and worse than that, people used to register character names as forum handles, and when you post as your active character you get outted that way too, e.g. "dallevian(NOT DESTUVIUS)" if i was trying to post as destuvius anonymously
