58981, Enlivening edges
Posted by Kowelu Rizzle on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
What do they do? The duration of my spell "fly" is 15 hours regardless of whether I cast it or enliven it. I took Enlivening Adept and Master Enlivener. Still 15 hours. What gives?

Enliven is the ability of shapeshifter to imbue the above forms of energy to the form they are shapeshifted into. ***Magic done in this manner only lasts half as long as spells that are cast, ***but it only takes half as much energy. The magic used in this manner usually goes away when a shapeshifter reverts to their normal form.
This is snipped from the enliven help file. Normally, enliven produces spells with half the duration of a cast spell so if your enliven is the same duration, then those edges doubleded the duration of your enliven. The biggest advantage to this is likely saving half the mana each time you shift and getting the same duration of your spells.
