58607, Warriors and shields

Does the staff have any interest in expanding upon what warriors can do with shields?

I know this question has been asked in the past, and I know the answer was "pallies only get to be 2h or shield, and shield is their thing". Well, now pallies have quite a few more options :).

I personally would love to see a 'shield specialization' for warriors. If this is something you guys are interested in, or think would be cool I am sure there will be no shortage of folks willing to brainstorm abilities for it.

Given how many options warriors have, I don't see a need here, especially given the overlap with paladins. Warriors are likely at the bottom of the list for serious development work.

58609, General skills?

Doesn't have to be warrior specific. Maybe just some general skills for shield work in general. Ranger, anti-paladin, warrior, thief, and assassin could each get one/some.

Take Cover: 4 round lag move. Sacrifice the ability to perform other actions for 3 rounds of increased defense and chance to block non-aoe-direct-damage spells and breath attacks.

Shield Wall: Automatic skill. Chance to block melee strikes against group mates provided they are using a shield as well.

Shield Taunt: Bang on your shield and yell in an attempt to demoralize your foe.
OR: Bang on your shield in an attempt to draw attacks away from the target's current target.

Shield Pin: Indoor only. Attempt to pin your opponents weapon arm against the wall and strike while they are exposed. 2 round lag, nullifies opponent's parry for 1 round or X number of strikes.

Or just let me trade my weapons specs for paladin shield moves. Kthnx.
