Has the threshold to get been nerfed or was it the way to get them nerfed??

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking. Characters now get fewer edge points for the same amount of observation and exploration XP earned than they did before, and additionally we broke Imm XP out into two categories that yield edge points in different ways.
