57320, Nightgaunt question...
Posted by Sarien on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Is there a command that lets you 'succumb' to the nightgaunt early? Or do you pretty much need to let it beat you up to <50% hp to get a free ride to its master?

is it succumb? And no, I don't, and no I haven't. And no, it is not in the helpfile. Toss me a bone, I'm not trying to be purposefully Obtuse here.
Edit to say:
I merely want to set up an alias for it going forward.

SUCCUMB (2472)
Syntax: succumb
While fighting a conjured nightgaunt, the succumb command will allow the nightgaunt to take you to its master, regardless of your health.

Awesome, next step...can help succumb be related to help nightgaunt?
I had checked help nightgaunt, then read both the 'conjurer nightgaunt' and 'bind nightgaunt' help files...I hadn't thought to try 'help succumb'

57332, Thank you.

Obviously I feel quite silly that my initial question contained the actual command. But, I honestly didn't think it actually worked because the only helpfiles I had thought to check were nightgaunt ones.
Thank you Umiron, and I apologize for being dense.
