Early on it was said that those who follow Greenways would only get a single shaman path, while others that followed normal imms would generally get two. Is this still the case?

I would say that is still the case for creeds, which right now consists only of Greenways. My understanding (which may not be completely accurate) is that one of the ideas behind creeds was that they not necessarily require as much creativity or time investment as traditional religions, and thus did not yield the same degree of mechanical reward.

That said, I do not know that we've established any such hard and fast rules for other kinds of non-traditional empowerment. In such cases, things like this probably remain at the discretion of the Immortal(s) who chose to get involved.

P.S. What's the difference? In my mind, you are more likely to get empowerment and get it promptly via creeds because we (the Immortals) already know what the deal is, what to expect, etc., where as with "custom empowerment" the player is really going out on a limb and hoping that an Immortal will get excited about what they're doing and become involved. With the former, there is room for a higher degree of expectation than there is with the latter.

I thought the greenways was how we were doing custom empowerments now? Maybe I interpreted that wrong.

Anyway in regard to custom empowerments:

Give me the realistic chance of getting some old renamed tattoo for whatever custom imm I create, and every single character of mine will follow a unique religion I create. And it will be awesome. Hell, the tattoo doesn't even have to do anything, it can give 0 stats, and have no progs, and I'd be excited as #### to get it.
