A few ideas for other events...

1. Players VS. Imms

One night a year the Gods send down their Avatars and in conjunction with their priests and followers they stage a huge battle for bragging rights for the last hit on a God.

Basically a free-for-all battle where the Imms tone down their god-like advantages and can only be assisted by those they have personally empowered. I'm sure some RP story can be devised to give some sort of loose credibility to an otherwise silly brawl between players and imms.

To keep this even more interesting perhaps have it be a three way brawl. Gods of Light vs. Gods of Dark vs. Players...so that there will be a bit of strategic/tactical ideas going about as to who to go after etc. Maybe make the prizes based on the overall winner...Gods of Light win, all goodies get something, Gods of Dark win, all evils get something, Players win all player participants win, etc. so on and so forth, you could split teams down even more Gods of chaos, Gods of Neutrality, etc.

Any player who manages to kill a God(dess) gets a prize and then there are the overall prizes for 'team' wins.



2. Hunger Games - Cabals Division

Obviously you'd have to change the name :P

Concept is the same pretty much with a couple of CF twists. Each cabal would pick two champions and on the day of the event they'd be let loose on a continent (not an arena battle) and can use terrain/etc. to their hearts content. No restrictions or rules except you cannot leave the continent itself. For the duration of the event the participants would have their hometowns switched to a city on that continent. And just like in hunger games, staying in one spot for a set amount of time without fighting will mean that SOME sort of Imm created danger will come a knocking. A horde of vampire monkeys, what have you. Last man standing wins for themselves and their cabal a prize of some sort.

3. Fox and Hounds

Step 1. Create Super Fox (possessed by Imm)
Step 2. Turn a bunch of players into hounds. (same way Twist turns people into frogs sometimes)
Step 3. Profit?

For this idea to work you have to give the hounds the ability to track the fox. As I'm thinking about this id add a 'houndskeeper' on the player side who the fox has to kill and the hounds protect. If the hounds can find and kill the fox before the fox finds and kills the houndskeeper, players win some prizes.

This also means the fox needs a way to track the houndskeeper and also means there is some strategy involved...does the houndskeeper send all the 'hounds' searching or keep a few close by for protection? I'd make it so the houndskeeper cannot do damage to the fox but give the houndskeeper a bunch of abilities to buff the hounds and/or aid them in tracking.

4. A Night of Gambling

Since we don't want ALL events to center around death and dismemberment, perhaps a simple night of story-telling and gambling with a few added prizes that can be won.
