If you are afflicted by something that damages you (crimson, plague, poison etc) and your health is below 50%, then you do get to wake up. That is the way it used to be anyway. There is nothing stopping the attacker from re-sleeping you on the tick though. I used to still kill people by simply recasting sleep on the hour as they tried to wake;q tele.
If you are not afflicted by anything that causes damage, then you will not be woken if below 50%.

Years ago you used to always wake from thirst and hunger as well. Always. So you could famish yourself before fighting a necro and get insta woke on the tick. They closed that loophole some time ago though.

54012, You guys are probably right. It's just hard to believe I missed especially since I just fought Thombury and had poison bring me to 43% while spamming stand.

But maybe the game hates me. Especially since Mantle of the phoenix didn't heal me when attacked by fire against mobs. Is that supposed to happen too?

Not when you drop below 50%. When you are below 50% already and you take damage. If that helps.

Mantle of the Phoenix does everal different things for you, but they're level-based. So you won't get all of the different goodies until you're in/near hero range. If I remember right, the fire-healing is the last piece you get.

It was 100% on. I bug boarded it just don't know if the imms meant for it to happen.

That can cause it not to heal for fire, as a hero.
I believe one of them is "NO evils in PK"
