Having had my pets summoned off to be killed by a hero, from what I could see for no other purpose than to annoy me I have to ask what the reasoning is for someone out of pk to be able to summon your pets?

Did that, probably did it wrong, but the best I could find was a thread from 2007 saying it was by design, the logic being that necromancers don't 'need' an army.
Since its apparently been spoken about numerous times I suppose you may as well delete the thread.

Just in case you didn't know. I'm pretty sure they can't summon your out of range pets if you are in the room with the pets. Or rather, out of range guy can't summon them.
