You have to be kidding me that you deleted and locked the thread based on my completely benign comment for someone to lose their attitude.

If you're going to delete a post, delete the whole branch that spawned it rather than leaving up someone's trolling and deleting any response they get to it.

And without naming names it's good to see someone back but can we try to be consistent about how we handle forum moderation this time without playing favorites with posters or turning into the forum dictator? It's a dead give away who it is since you're the only person who does that, so much so that I recognize it even after 8 years or so.

1) The "dead giveaway" of the identity of the forum moderator is the post on the thread saying "Thread locked", signed by me.

2) The point of the thread (Tremblefist vs. door) wasn't being addressed any more, so I closed the discussion before it spiraled further.

3) "Completely benign comment for someone to lose their attitude" is an unusual claim to make.
