Move dual wield to 12 or 15?
"Though cowardly at heart" For the love of pete consider moving hide into the 20's? early 30's? For a race that is this cowardly you would think they would learn how to hide at an early age..i'd even say rank 1. Hide is already a pretty limited skill as it is.
and I lied one more.. ranking from 40-48 and into hero range..and just getting...dash...was a real kick in the nuts. Consider fourth attack?

My impression overall was that orcs are quite capable at the lower ranks. There might be a couple classes that have an edge in that matchup, but orcs are by no means lacking. If I was going to boost a teen-ranked class, I'd go with the other suggestions floating around and crank up conjurers and other magi.
We've kicked around some idea for adding some offense or utility in the mid- to late ranks. Orcs have a weird balance curve- the chief is quite strong, but in the ranks right before it, they seem somewhat one-dimensional. Some of the recent area projects I worked on with Thrakburzug (better mercs, various orc-only gear with custom code on it, etc.) were aimed at these ranks, but I think we can work on doing a little more there.

If dual doesnt get touched it is not so bad..you can rank an orc to 19 quite easily. However, I still think moving hide to a lower level would be worth consideration. Especially if you consider the one recall area you have available to you has no healer. Not to mention how easy it is to break into the orc village.
Anyway just trying to think of little things that will help people try to stick with orcs.

Someone made a good point on the unofficial forums of maybe giving orcs 100% berserk like dwarves....they are called Berserkers for a reason..

+str timer maybe irongrip incardine wave type effects.. "Full of rage someorc lands a mighty blow with his axe, tearing into hisopponents flesh" Causes bleeding -str/-dex whatever etc etc
heh..talk about an orc players dream come true..
