5218, Something that has always bugged me about the role chap...

They post backwards! I'm sure it's just a pet peeve of mine, but it really drives me nuts. For example, when I do a character, I usually do a progressive story (one that starts at the beginning and update it as I move through the character's life). But the role command shows (and puts it into the mud) in a backwards order. So when you type role, you get something like this:

Your role is
Chapter 3: The Village
Chapter 2: Escape from Arkham
Chapter 1: Betrayal by Mom and Pop
Chapter 0: Born in the Underdark (Introduction)

Does that bug anyone else? I wonder if Imms go nuts trying to read through people's roles and stuff or is it just something that you all have grown accustomed to? Anyway, thanks for the cool game. :+

If they change it one day - fine and dandy. If they
don't it just makes you disoriented for a moment.
like that little bit of lag after a word of recall
spell. :)

On the other hand I alphabetize my books by author
and title, so I might not be the one to listen to
here.

Yes, I think it's confusing. With the old role command, I actually would write little roles now and then, empowered char or not. Since the introduction of the new role command, I haven't bothered with a single role, not to mention empowered char. And the role command is partially to blame for that.

I grudgingly admit that does sometimes confuse me if I haven't read roles in a while.
