Does wanderlust allow me to cast entangle on land if I am sucesfully checking for home terrain?
Same question for stormcalling.

that the checks for those aren't based on home terrain, but merely being in terrain water. So even with wanderlust making any terrain home terrain, you would still not be in water.

Stormcalling will not work on just any water. Rivers, lakes, don't work, only oceans and seas. So, the spell is pretty limited but it is an interesting one.

I had a mariner for 280 hours but it didn't work at the time.
Can you post a log snippet or just describe it?

Instantaneous storm with random bolts of lightning to everyone that you don't trust. That was the main part that I observed, which wasn't but maybe a time or two. I was using a storm giant at the time so my own lightning bolts were easy to call and an increase in damage ability due to the stormrage edge.
