Since we were asked to propose more ideas about how to make practicing more fun:

How about setting a practice focus, probably with a timer, that lets you focus your skillups on a particular skill/spell, to the detriment of all others?

So if I'm an orc, I can choose "practice focus bash"

and I'll spam bash in combat and itll go up a bit quicker, but my weapon skills and everything else I use won't go up as quick.

This would allow those who want their main stuff up quick for pk purposes to be able to choose to do that, but they'll suffer in other areas due to their focus on those few things.
