50898, Maledict vs. Mobs

Do stat maledictions affect mobs? Obviously blind/bleed/etc. helps, but wondered if things like stacked vital, nerve strike, boneshatter, etc. would end up making the mob easier to fight or not.
50920, This is the very reason assassins are good tanks.

They're good tanks mostly because they have good (or great) dodge, can go sword/shield without gimping themselves, and have a decent self-heal. Maladiction ability is a distant runner-up.

Yes. You used to be able to rot mobs and kill them that way by spamming nerve or damnation for -con. I believe this has been fixed.

Strength maledictions reduce their damage noticeably (weaken might make a MASSACRE go down to an EVISCERATE or MUTILATE). Dexterity afflictions seem to hurt their hitroll.

I don't know if there are any other effects in addition to that though or not.
50915, Definitely haven't noticed any effect from dropping mob strength

Maybe confirmation bias on your part?
50916, It absolutely affects their output, absolutely. nt

This is pretty easy to confirm by playing a necromancer. After gathering zombie armies 100 times by sleeping them and stacking scourge it's hard to dispute. If I had to guess, much like PCs they get some kind of bonus to damroll based on strength so you can potentially drop that from +7 to 0 or something like that. You can't make something that hits for mangles hit for wounds though, there's a finite amount that it seems to help with, likely once their +strength bonus is erased you're done.
50918, You still can rot mobs

I used to rot the cabal outers because I got the impression they didn't shout out when dying to it. Then I could jump the defender inside.

Not sure if this is accurate but sure seemed to work like that.
