I can't connect to CF except for the play link up top, mud clients won't work and even telnet doesn't want to connect to muds from this computer for some reason. Is the play link still down? At first I was getting no mortals can log in at this time message, but now I'm getting "Unable to connect: security error." message after it tries to connect for a long time.

Type in the IP address instead of the domain name. It'll work fine.
You can find the IP on the announcements board.
The mud has been up and running on a new server for a few days now!

This isn't a new thing, Like I said, I haven't been able to connect to the mud anyway except the play link. It isn't just after the server move this has happened. I haven't been able to use mud clients for a long time. Is there a way to use the IP address instead from the play link?

We were holding off on setting up the Play function until after the DNS updated, but I'll prod Dacagais to fire it up anyway. When the server is up and running, you will be able to connect using the play link on the new server here: http://208.117.43.240/

If you're connecting from http://208.117.43.240/play.php (as per the instructions above) you should not be getting the security error. If you try clicking the Play link here on the forums (and thus try to connect to carrionfields.net 4449 instead) you will get the security error.
