49751, All Immortal Roleplay is Awesomesauce
Posted by KoeKhaos on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
This post has been redacted at the request of the original poster. He meant to say, "I am overcome by admiration at the zippy story-arc and juicy character development instigated and/or supported by certain bright and sexy immortals, even if it means I get whackadoodled by a couple of pwnies in a manner that breaks convention and rattles expectations. It keeps me on my toes, and CF just wouldn't be the same without these "WTH!?!?!" moments. Thank you."
** edited by Amaranthe. Similarities between this post and the true thoughts of the original poster are purely coincidental.

49776, I think you are misunderstanding me...
Posted by KoeKhaos on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I never interacted with said character yet, and that was only a tiny fraction of my concerns, which again are pointless since it seems obvious the majority favor the changes and so I must acquiesce. I can only assume you made this parody in response to my comments against the other posters on the other forum. Rest assured I have no personal problems with you or the said characters. I only disliked the fact that individuals replying to the thread were attempting to make claims that simply weren't true. If changes are made by the Immortals in charge of specific things they created/run then obviously the changes are the new way things should be done. Those others attempting to claim that Outlanders and Fortress never work together when it is obvious they do was just silly. I have no problem with Alliances in game, what I do have problems with is people being obtuse and claiming those alliances don't ever exist. Other than that, I don't really have a bone in that fight. There was something else that specifically irked me, this thing that was accounted to you was only maybe 5% of it. I don't know if I made myself any clearer for you, but just wanted to try to make sure that little thing wasn't a primary concern to me.
P.S. I had way too much free time because my good computer is broken, otherwise I wouldn't have posted so much on that other forum either. I usually try to just be silent, which I probably will from now on since it's just filled with so much vitriol and trolling and only rare actual conversations on topics.

49779, Just in good fun...

Don't read too much into it. :)

49780, Ah, in that case. Good one. :) nt

49782, Here is the thing.

People seem to act like its a bad thing that they work together. I understand they do at times as they have common enemies. Other times they attack each other. Sort of like how tribunal and empire acts. Sort of like how villagers and outlanders act toward tribunal. (This is semi rare 4-6 times per magistrate I've played.) Its how the game goes. I guess people just assume your saying its something bad. I didn't read the thread as I don't care enough to. That is how I feel and see it. I get where your coming from though.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but based on the tone of the post I'm not sure I want to know. :P

49761, My apologies. It was a moment of blind stupidity posting this.
Posted by KoeKhaos on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
More to the point, you can just put it down to an old dog coming home and finding his home changed and going in circles more than three times confused at the changes and having trouble adjusting. You may delete this post if you like as it doesn't add anything to the conversation here. I got some interesting insight off someone elses post on the forums and just have to come to terms that things change, whether I agree with them or not! :)

49764, I suspect
Posted by sezdral on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
It has to do with Andira and Azhelak. Andira having Amaranthe's tattoo. But I don't know whats going on IC so I can't judge. I'm pretty puzzled too but this is probably a bad place to start speculating what is going on.

49765, Yes, unofficials would be better...oh wait...

ugh.

49766, It was for several things, but again, it seems I'm just outdated.
Posted by KoeKhaos on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
And should try to get with the times!

49767, Suggestion
Posted by Amaranthe on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Why not try roleplaying with these characters? You can get your answers, and might even have fun.
Not every variation from the norm involves roleplaying a fundamental racial align shift, such as the dark elf that becomes good, that over the years has almost become cliche. There are more subtle ways to evolve characters in different directions, too.

49769, RE: Suggestion
Posted by sezdral on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Yes, it's on my list. I'm still trying to get a good angle to roleplay with them. That's why I said it's not the right place to speculate, which many people have been doing OOC because it looks dodgy without any context.

49775, For some of us..
Posted by KaguMaru on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Roleplay with Azhelak consists of eating an unspeak and being unable to flee, recall or teleport.
This is probably also the angriest and most confused part of the playerbase

What kind of response do you hope to receive when you post something like this? You don't even mention what it is you're complaining about.
My suggestion: if you see something that seems blatant then email the imps. Posting extremely vague rhetorical questions on the public forums isn't likely to prove productive.
