The milestone for many things (devious versatility comes to mind) seems to be higher than what I can ever get with having a solid role alone.
I honestly try to RP at all times but over the course of 20+ characters I've never gotten immXP for anything but role or (just once) participating in an event.
Does the problem lie in my PK ratios? I can see how having a 5/1 ratio on a PK-oriented char can make me look bad.

I don't always follow this, but make a meaningful role update once every two weeks and unless a jerk imm judges it you should get imm exp. Rinse, repeat.

Make yourself noticed. Bard notes, inn events, create your own player driven quest to aid a cause you enjoy, make scavenger hunts, oh yea..umm and RP. That helps. Also be ballsy. Someone tries to rp with you? RP back.
