First, thank you. I definitely enjoyed these and it is good to know when things are adjusted.

Second, any chance you could attempt to do a redux of the changes between March 2009 and August 2012 (where has the time gone?!?!) since that was the last update before yours this month?

If not, I understand, but I can't help but ask.

- Hypnotize effects made stronger pretty much across the board.

Sorry but I brought this up pretty much day 1 and it took this long to get changed. Made several chars trying to make this work and it just didn't. Same with how I said traps needed boosting for over a year before it got changed.

Just came back to say I'm glad it got changed....and TOLD YOU SO! :)

Digging them up afterwards would take time, as you don't necessarily know what needs to be dug up etc.

All I hear is my professor yelling at our class "Document! Document! Document!" because of this, I document almost nothing... Might be why I also gave up programming for Network Engineering...

Doing grunt work higher level imms don't want to do? If you use some sort of change control it should be possible to get the changes and figure out what was tweaked... I would think. It all sort of depends on how things are done.

Either way, thanks for doing the updates to code and for putting them on code changes. Even without anything between I'm happy, but I thought I would ask.

Not having been on staff myself what I have heard over the years seems to indicate that only level 60 imps have direct access to the code and only 57+ imms are actually involved in the code.

It seems like there are some text log files and databases that have a bit more general access to lower level imms (beyond their in-game commands) but unless they have an imm only change log lower level imms wouldn't neccesarily have the access or familiarity with the code to do an update.

I mean if they had a text based change log that could be used to source this information from I suspect Nep would have just used copy/paste and some mild editing to do it himself.

I had started going through this at some point. Posted what I had written down. Obviously it's not all the changes, but gives a decent idea of the bigger things that changed.
