4660, Warrior specs

I know I know, I saw it in a movie (Troy - good movie, bad with Legolas) but still, has anyone brought this up...
What about a shield spec?
Paladins obviously learn it, why not just allow those skills to be learned by a warrior? Or even legacies that affect shields in any way? Think it'd be just another touch of spice added to the warrior class that would be fun - and more defensive, if that was ever needed (can't strength drop a shield or it's hard to lose one (offhand/shieldcleave)).
Just a thought. SD

In a general sense, we're not interested in giving the abilities of one class to another. Part of what makes CF interesting is that the classes play quite differently.
This also applies to giving Legacies to other classes, etc.

Or,
You could have a shield specialization that doesn't focus on the same type of skills used for paladins. Foreseeably, you could spice things up a bit with a shield + spear, shield + halberd, and shield + flail. All take some place in the historicity of past wars, and would be a unique class of its own. Or a subclass, if you so design it that way.
Dilution doesn't necessitate simply copying other skills from a set skill list, though, so allow for some creativity and make something practical, unique, and fun. The above sounds fun to me.
I'd even wager you could make a new skirmisher class out of the above. Worth a shot, in my opinion.
Bleh. Skirmersher? I butchered that.
