I had a melt down today as Mog when was wiped out by a group of three that he was attempting to jump. It happens (Getting beat down by a group that is).

I just want to say, I sincerely appreciate the taking of all the bad ass axes I managed to scarf out of the pit. They were easy to gt so I shouldn't be mad about that.

I want to thank you for taking all the swords.

I want to thank you for droppig everything you didn't need so you could take some of my orc only gear.

Thank you for taking my charred leather bracers.

Thank you for destroying my container.

Thank you for leaving me wands and scrolls. I can really use those as an orc.

I am glad that you respected that I went all out and took two of three of you out previously and let you be before comming back.

I mean, I enjoy his characters. I don't feel annoyed by his forum posting. As far as I can recall, Pro is one of a very small hand-full of players who I haven't at some point had a beef with. Hell, even before, in my prime days of being easily provoked, I don't recall ever having had the slightest of harsh words for him. Anyone else generally considered to be a pain in the ass in one way or another, I have almost certainly had a flamefest with at some stage. Am I missing something?

If he ever really stopped playing, I genuinely feel like the game would be lessened some. Same with Graatch, Magus, and Rogue (as well as a few others). Those guys however I have had issues with before (except for Rogue come to think of it) at some time or another and I can sort of see where people might not care for them. Hell, even DC, whom I would gladly take a bullet for, I can see where someone else might get irritated by. Even myself. I am honest enough with myself to admit that there have been times where I wasn't exactly being reasonable. But Pro I seem to have a huge glaring blind spot for, because I can honestly say I can't recall ever being annoyed by either in game or on the forums.

At the risk of turning this thread into more of a flamefest, am I just missing something? Am I like the really super smart, nice hot chic who has an inhuman douchebag for a boyfriend, and is the only one who can't see it? (FYI my wife falls into this category, so I know the type)

People need someone to hate more than themselves. So they overreact on players that play the game different than they do. IC pro is longwinded and annoying but he tries harder than most of the player base. On the forums he is very vocal about everything which annoys some people but thats the good thing about being vocal.

Personally pro annoys me with the things he says but I dont have a problem with him. He does have some good points when he writes things and 9 out of 10 times he just fuels the fires of whining that comes from most others but I honestly dont believe he means to.

And I thought you were rouge because he played fzoarn and you did...or am I mistaken because I am confused on that. (Please clear that up for me...I personally liked Fzoarn)

Fzoarn was him. The last character that I heroed was a Scion shifter, and before that I played Irusan, an elf paladin follower of Baer. I've also played Ahelun, Celebrimbor, Spenner, Rasendedum, Gargargh, Esmi and, of course, Vladamir. I've probably interacted with you at some point.

I think the weird lag is in the US end and has nothing to do with Kuwait. I recall other people complaining about it as well. I've had problems with loading the website ever since they switched to the new ISP. I've seen some weird lag in the game too, btw.

As for you looting the the guys who took your gear, it should be easy to make up a reason to loot them, especially as an orc. I suggest that you don't give them some trash OOC reason. After all, orcs are not reknown for their good sportsmanship. Don't give them a trash reason that would let them know that this is an exception because they looted from you. It should be easy enough for an orc to justify looting. You wanted it, so you took it.

Let's get a few things straight here.


Mog came to FoN, insta killed the two mages I was with and at that point I hadn't gotten a look at him but I knew he was one of those decked out level 15 orcs running around pk range spamming bash/trip on everything. That's fine. That's good orc RP. Spread terror, be fearsome. He and I fought and I had to flee after his wimpy kicked in cause I was down to 15%.

An hour later, he's back for more free gnome kills but we manage to surprise him and he quickly goes down. All three of us had #### for gear. All three of us had no desire to leave him strong enough in any way to return and bother us again, possibly even slay one of us. I took the axes, cause that was my intended spec. I took a sick neck piece. Each of the mages took three or four things they could use and one of the mages (I didn't quite agree with his choice here) took the swords to cripple the orc for good.

Mog then proceeded to spam all three of us for 60 seconds about how he was going to (as a player) make sure he screwed us over in the same way. He then rage-deleted, making clear all his threats were OOC. So I'm expecting any day now to be killed by some random assassin or something and find everything I had sacrificed before my eyes and have him say, "That's for Mog, you bitch."

Fortunately for me, I'm going to have money in the bank and I know how to regear. Won't make me delete or go OOC on him. He can do whatever the hell he wants.

Did Mog get screwed? Yes. But it was after he ate two mages.

Is that sometimes how it goes on Carrion Fields? Yes.

CF may have a low playerbase, but we didn't miss you when you were gone the first time, and we won't miss you if you leave again, I promise you. I may be wrong here, but how does the new character have any idea what the old character did/said. THis is over and above any specifics to the incident, which I won't comment on, but it seems to me, that if Pro actually goes through with this, he's breaking the rules 100%, and just admitted to doing it.

Seriously, if you can't deal with the loss that comes with death, you need to play another game. You fought, you died, you are not entitled to anything in your corpse after that happens. Anything you get back is a bonus, not a right. Use the outfit command and truck on, or delete and go away, but don't come here in a desperate grasp to voice how terrible it was to be looted. Nobody cares, it's part of the game, always has been part of the game and used to be much worse.

Sounds to me from what you just wrote that you went after a ranking group, not once, but twice. You killed two the first time, then came and ####ed with them again? I would full loot your ass too if you were impeding my ranking not only once, but twice, and got unlucky enough to die the second time around. When you're out regearing, you aren't messing with their leveling. That's solid logic. Maybe you should have left them alone, or did you think they were just going to give you all your shiny things back to unghost and take a third shot at them?

I have no idea what you expected to accomplish with a post like this. Seriously step back and take a look at your post again, if you can't see how ridiculous it was then you are just beyond help.

If you jump a ranking group, expect to lose significantly more than if you were just out looking for a fight with non rankers. More so if you are a repeat offender.
