Freezing iceball
Felars who are adept at bringing forth iceballs can, through study and their inherent resistance to the cold, bring forth an iceball so cold that it can cause a victim'c carried potions to freeze and shatter.
Scorching fireball
Fire giants ho are adept at bringing forth fireballs can, through study and their inherent resistance to the fire, bring forth an fire so hot that it can cause a victim'c carried potions to evaporate.

I considered at one point (and still might someday add a) fireball edge for fires and desert-background-edge'd humans and halfs and an iceball edge for felar and cold-background-edge'd humans and halfs, but they wouldn't do this.
