Why as an arial bard can I not learn this edge?

What prereq doesn't the arial qualify for, charisma?

Erode confidence seems like a pretty staple bard edge. I'm surprised an arial cannot learn it. Santa Zulg, early 2012 xmas or late 2011, pleeeese?!

Shockingly, there are some consequences to picking a race that has an abysmally low prime req stat for your class.

I thought the muted song effectiveness was the consequence for playing an arial bard!

having human/wood-elf/elf charisma is way better then having fly as a village bard (at least in the ranks where you will be participating in pk)

I'm going to stick it out for now. For some masochistic reason I'm determined to find out how bad it really can be.

Fly is pretty damn sweet too for villagers, don't kid yourself.
The trick is to play to the strengths of that build, which will depend on your village path. My hint is this, don't go defender- you have healing via songs though poultice has some uses.
Scout, meh. Critical works only if you have commands going through. Berserker. Pray deathblow gets you through lag periods. Thirst can be nice. And you still can sing with enough efficacy to get some benefit of being a bard.

Just thoughts though. I did high elf scout once. Amazing how often you get tripped down by to people and generally can't do crap about it, or bashed down for that matter. 25 dex and fly helps with both of those things, deathblow and thirst makes it far less likely they even can outmelee you if they do manage to lag you out. I see scout as a more effective mage fighter, berserker as a much better melee fighter.

Gerylanst did well as an arial battle bard, pretty sure he was a scout.
