I have very fond memories of some past interactions. My paladin that betrayed Zulg and got talked to, then transferred to the dracolich which Zulg then possessed and RPd at me with it before it attacked me. Everyone remembers the Cabdru debacle, but no one ever talks about all of the fun they had fighting and interacting with Cabdru. Hunsobo was a killing machine, but the mud is better off for having had him. Oh, and the excitement when I got my first tat from Shokai, and got leader.

Obviously the immortals are great. Despite years and years of playing, to include some obnoxious roles, I've never had any bad experience with any immortal in game. Granted, my obnoxious roles never last long because I don't enjoy them.

Every "bad" experience that comes up that I've seen can be attributed to a douchey player or an over-reaction to an immortal (human being) mistake. Those mistakes seem to get fixed post haste when the player acts in a responsible manner.

I don't play much anymore, but I seriously doubt any artistic work or novel will ever match the pleasure I've garnered from this game.

I itched to PK him, but missed the sleeping song as Cabdru was too slippery and wasn't in the room at the critical moment. Then I proceeded to get bashed to death. But yeah, Cabdru being there generally made the character's life more exciting.

I'm always having so much fun when an Immortal talks to me. Yeah sure, I get stressed a bit (Not sure why) but it always makes my CF day!

but probably the high point was getting a dream with Victoria, since at that point in her life I was getting steamrolled repeatedly (pre-controls at hero if I remember correctly) and regularly looted heavily and was not having fun at all.

On the downside, it was hard to watch the gankers get rewards for doing this kind of stuff while avoiding anything like an even fight.

My hat's off to Marcatis.

The greatest of them all is ole RayBaer. I know I say it a lot, but you are awesome for the game and you don't get half the credit you deserve.
Same goes for you Daevryn. I miss getting random little nods of approval from the big man =). Hopefully some of the stupid #### from unhappy players will blow over soon and you both can start to enjoy the game for what it should be again.

The entirety of Homard's life was full of IMMteraction, mostly with Thror, who gave me The Stank and rendered the character very difficult to play for something like a hundred hours. But it all paid off in Spades and made for an amazing 450 hours.

Every time I've run into Enlilth has been totally awesome. Few players get the whole "evil without being a #### (even while being a ####)" better than Enlilth.

The pantheon of Battle IMMs who have congratulated, chastised, and egged me on for the past several years, you make this game great.

Baer, you Maraned me with 4 PKs. I heart you big time for that. Even though I was RPing a retarded elf, badly.

To Twist, who went totally OOC on me and asked why I was RPing a retarded elf, badly, I've had nothing but awesome times with your morts (as a serial Villager, I can't justify much interacting with Twist himself.) Thanks for showing me a bunch of stuff.

Zulgh, you are the best.

Basically, to echo Bobby, thank you for doing what is mostly a thankless task. When any of you guys run into the douchebags who are totally unappreciative, just know that some of us really are quite thankful for everything.

It's great to get thumbs-up from players primarily because, at the end of the day, you are our clients.

For the most part, the Immortal staff wants your praise. We are contributing, like a group of creative figures, our work. We want the audience to 'like' it.

Alternatively, I would not be here if it wasn't for the players. I have encountered some of the most outstanding, creative and well played roles specifically in this arena. While it's fun to play an all-knowing figure, what players to do entertain us "Gods" goes a long way towards making this a blast.

Keep doing what you guys do and making outstanding contributions with mortals.

..I summon you Captain Planet. Anyways, you guys get a lot of grief for everything that goes wrong in the game, but we as players have enjoyed CF for countless hours because of every immortals' hard work. Kudos Thror. You've always taken what people to say to heart and I would hate for you to lose that human quality.
