Well, shoot. Thought about it. Been thinking about it for awhile. Gave myself some time to cool off. Thought about it some more, and yep! I'm done. Quitting.

When the game is getting to you, just don't play it. Even if you don't see it happen, just remember that someday you'll feel that itch again and you'll be back. And, remember that it's YOU that's changed, not the game.

I've even had a four year break, and yet here I am. Just play for yourself first and you'll find a much better harmony. While you don't come across as someone who needs to be told that, I'll say it anyway: There is no 'I WIN' button! So stop looking for it.

Oh, and while I am at it, one more piece of advice: Don't play to play, play because you feel you have something meaningful to add.

That said, before you run off and never look back I'd ask you to take a few days and return to think about the situation with a cooler head.
