Been trying to figure out how often a moon phase lasts and after some time spent logging changes (without mud crashing in between) I have only managed to rule out some things.... Doesn't seem to be a fixed number of ticks, and is not a fixed number of RL hours/minutes.

So is it random range of ticks or what?

If this has been clarified elsewhere in the forum I could not find the post and would appreciate a link.

If it hasn't, some IMM or player want to shed light on this? It would help save the few strands of hair I have not yet yanked out of my scalp.

Correct.

It is a random range of real life time.

Until some druid literally only logged on for full moons. This went on for some time (months) during Thrunna's lifetime until Zulgh changed it to have some randomness. Said character then disappeared/deleted.
