39354, Air forms 2 cents

You should be able to go down at 0 movement or not be able to move to that location. The auto death sentence is retarded.

39378, and I thought air movement was too easy

I would love to see a change such that if birds are fighting in the air every round of combat drains mv's as it currently stands two air forms fighting is pretty boring.

39372, Pray that falling to your death is the only price you pay, Magescum.

Seriously, though. I think it's fine the way it is.
How many times does someone die to this? I forget how it appears in a PBF ("fell to their death" gets no search results, so I'm not sure.) But I'd guess that an air major should fall to the ground even less often than the average character gets assassinated.

39374, it looks like this: The Skies above Thera|Dorlanz plummeted to death.

It happened to Dorlanz several time, but that was largely due to a crappy connection and I would lose link and revert in the air before I could reconnect.

39370, There's a simple way around this. Air as Major (txt)

The first greater enliven you get from air, Spirit of the Thunderhawk, pretty much negates this (assuming you do smart things before you fly like eat and drink). Assuming that, you will have enough to get atleast far enough away to word/teleport.
I think it makes 100% of sense to have things the way they are, as it gives a very real bonus for people who go air first, instead of util/off/def.

39371, Spirit of the Thunderhawk is the second greater enliven you get. Eyes of the Eagle is the first. nt

I suggested this like...6 years ago. It didn't make sense to me either. A bird should be able to just glide to the ground. If you wanted to make it less convenient just add a heinous amount of lag. Like 2 game hours or something.

39356, Sorry your complete freedom of movement has downsides. nt
