It seems like everyone immediatley rolls out of the silverback, the orangutan and the howler monkey forms. Any thoughts on tweaking the way smash works so that they all would be mildly less bad? Perhaps make it so that regular smash works similar to rake, 1 round of lag on the victim and 2 rounds of lag on the shifter. And then perhaps with the "square in the face" smash give it pincer type lag?

I made changes to both silverback and smash a little while ago that should make it better.

Honestly, if I were to go that route, I'd just make it like rake (1 on victim, 2 on you), but the way it is now you've got a better chance at command-denial (which isn't even possible with rake).
39146, Did you read the shifter edges idea below Zulgh? If so, what did you think?

My thoughts? I'm not opposed to some simian edges.

That being said, I've implemented 2 of the 832 existing edges, I'm probably not the best guy to ask.

39156, And one of those is named Bloody Pecker.

So I would be worried about what the edges would be.
39135, What if you seriously upped their skill dodge/evade thing?

I mean, monkeys jump around a lot when they fight.
