38245, Setting a precedent re: role contests
Posted by Artificial on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
If I am in the process of writing my role as the role contest is announced, am I allowed to add my chapters and then 'rolecontest enter' and have the added chapters (or an entire role) count towards the role contest, or must the chapters have been added before the announcement?

In short, if I add my entire role now, after the announcement, am I still a viable contestant?

I am not referring to the chapter summary thing that was added.

Glad I (through Eshval) got the role cliffnotes to be more popular :P

I'll consider entries added up until the deadline.

Bear in mind, quantity != quality. I'm really looking for an interesting role that ties into easily-recognizable insight into the character.

And if the role doesn't revolve around rape as a life-changing catalyst, that's all the better! :) (for some reason, rape has taken over the top catalyst-du-jour spot from "bad guys burned down my village.")

Side note - I'm getting a bunch of emails requesting entry into the rolecontest. It's automated. So all you have to do it type "rolecontest enter".

On a related note, check out "help rolecontest" and try out "rolecontest history" - you can see past winners :)
