37029, Champion of Man edge vs Hell tattoos.
Posted by RandomAP on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
What if an AP with Champion of man edge goes to hell and gets a tattoo there. Does it count as "divine" and thus ####s his edge up? I'm inclined to say that it doesn't/shouldn't as devils sure ain't gods. But mechanic-wise, is this the case? Or is it "tattoo as tattoo"?
Thanks for an answer! :D

37031, I think the answer to this is obvious in the helpfile.

As it reduces unholy damage taken as well, it would assume that unholy still counts as an aspect of the divine. As well, champions of men do not want outside influence in the mortal realm, and the inferno sure aint kansas.

37036, I somewhat disagree, and I agree....

Unholy makes me think of evil gods, holy makes me think of goodly gods.
Demons/devils doesn't fit into that equation at all to me.
But, I agree to the part that asking for outside influence is somewhat against "champion of man" view.
