This operates the opposite of what is intuitive to me - being quickened decreases your appetite. You would think if your system is working over-drive, it would take more food to become full, not less.
I'm assuming this is by design, otherwise I'd post it on the bug board.

if you have the skill metabolic unity this might not be as noticeable.

It takes less food to go from hungry to completely full when you are metabolically quickened.

But you get hungry faster.
Basically when your metabolism is quicker you need to eat less but more often.
