1. If cloth is consecrated, will the edge help it?
2. If you don't know the relevant armor use skill, will the edge still help?
3. Will the edge help a helm enable you to resist blackjacking?

Sure, as long as its type is armor and not clothing. So technically the answer is yes, but in practice, probably not.

Yes.

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure the answer is no.
