I don't know if you should remove request, maybe these functions will supplement request/demand better than replace.

Intimidate/Impress

The short of it, its request, works on waay lower level say your lvl 40 you can request from a lvl 20.

This sort of skill would be useful for regearing. Not much else.

*Also would stop all the waah wah about goodies killing neutral guards.

How about something along the lines of "convince"?

Use charisma, alignment, ethos, and level as factors in determining whether or not the NPC is convinced by your plea. I could see good magi or warriors hiring bards and thieves to convince neutral mobs to hand over the key/wand/daddy's watch.
