Alright. So I was sitting down debating with my buddy today about different classes and how they do in different explore areas. When the topic of hell came up, I said I thought that evil conjurers would make a good addition to a group likely, because of their identify spells and whatnot. He claimed to have been in hell with an evil conjurer, and that after a certain depth that he was pretty much useless.....demons and devils smashing right through 1000 mana circles with no extra mana put into the conjuration. Now I understand devils are called from the hells, so i see a rp reason for them not to work there, but are demons also an unviable thing in hell?


I guess what im asking without asking anything "secret" to be revealed....is do evil conjurers suffer a penalty to conjuring/binding/keeping demons/devils in hell, or was it the RNG rearing its ugly head again?

Demons work normally in Hell as far as I can remember.

You can't conjure devils in Hell. You're already on their home plane.

I remember at one point years ago Andaren was writing an Abyss area, although nothing ever came of it as far as something being in the game.
