31286, What was your favourite Diety to follow? Or one you wished to follow?

I had several interactions with Ilraeth and Savraeth and wished I could have interacted more with them but my favourite Imm to interact with was Innis followed closely by Shokai.

I think the core of the choice of Imms I liked/like was associated with old school Fort with the different items for each aspect of the Cabal. Made the Fort seriously nasty to assault and of course made for internal conflict between the factions.

Cheers,
Arzzra.

I've been empowered and tatt'd by Vynmylak and Daevryn. Separately from those two characters, I've had tatt'd followers of Bria, Baerinika and Marcatis.

At the risk of damning the others with faint praise (which is by no means my intention), I'd have to say I enjoyed Daevryn and Marcatis the most. Vynmylak was cool, but we really didn't interact as much as I did with the others. Baerinika was cool too, but I was always a little clueless about how to act when we would meet. Would definitely do another follower, though- please don't think I'm criticizing Baer.

One thing I liked about Daevryn is that he was actually kind of pushy about "real stuff". Like you need to have some concrete goals and be working toward them, instead of just talking about X,Y,Z spheres. Makes it that much sweeter if/when you actually succeed.

Two things I liked about Marcatis: first, he was willing to spend a LOT of time talking to you, which is good since he really requires you to "get" the nuances of his religion before slapping a tat on you. Also, his religion has more "theology" to it than some of the others, which are much more vague. I dig that.

Oh yeah- I enjoyed the few times I got to interact with Scarab, Cyradia and Khasatholas. Cyradia caught a lot of flack, but I thought she was pretty cool.

Very classy, very obscure and fun to run around! Enjoyed my shaman with him sooooooo much!

I'd like to try a scarab god someday or even try Daevryn to some extend! But like I said way back, some gods I feel I need to be better, more elite to follow since they have an aura of knowledge too huge for me!

I don't think you have to be uber-elite to follow Daevryn and come out happy with how things go, you just have to have a realistic estimation of your own abilities.

Also, you need to not try when I'm too busy and being a deadbeat imm dad. :) But I've been good for a while now, honest!

my 'challenge' in that it made me go to areas I never would have gone to as a rager to get things I never knew existed (outside of kuo toa shield). I wonder if some of those things had ever been used before.

So thanks for sharing knowledge in a cool way.
31289, I really liked Vynmylak, back in the day.

Too bad he kept quitting CF/going dormant shortly after empowering me. After the second time, I started thinking it might be me.

Also had a soft spot for Balgrimnr, since he empowered my first ever char (yep.. a pally), even though I very clearly had no clue what I was doing.

I really didn't like the old layout of the Fort, with 3 cabals in 1. I like the current incarnation much better. Although I do think Acolytes/Maran (and especially leaders) need to draw the line between the two a little better. Can be pretty interesting, when people care enough to act like there's a real difference, instead of "Maran", and "Those other goodies that suck (even more) at PK."
