Why is this skill so unreliable for me? I am literally hitting one out of every three. Its really messing with my tactics when I'm expecting to lose 2 rounds to boneshatter and end up burning 4-6 rounds. By the time it lands its already time for me to flee, assuming I last that long.

It just seems to me that this is a power move that would favor the strength of a giant. It kind of comical that I can hurl a dagger with far more accuracy than I crush bones.

Any explainations?

cobra - dodge/evade made you usually miss one of your boneshatters
croc - had ricochet edge + already croc's skin makes it hard for you to boneshatter in the first place.

As for other cases, no idea why you keep missing boneshatter.

I wouldn't call that missing. Maybe he needs to clarify what he means by a miss. I took it to mean the skill is actually failing.

I'm not really talking about if someoe evades the skill. I mean just a plain old miss.

On a side note, I don't think I have that log fighting the Cobra at the Island, but, he did evade it a few times if I remember but I also missed alot. Maybe thats because the Cobra is a dexy form? I dunno.

You're not very good at it, you're unlucky, or you're picking a target that's very hard to boneshatter for some reason (e.g., calcified)

Well, its a perfected skill. And its happened vs. several different people in pk. It happens with mobs, but, I guess I don't notice it as much because it isn't as big of a deal.

Hitroll maybe?

I thought about that too, but, it stands to reason if it were a hitroll issue, wouldn't all my skills suffer? I think my hitroll is typically in the mid twenties with warcry.
