Why they are so different in their powers - some are awesome and some totally suck?

Each immortal determines what they want their tattoo to do based upon the theme of the religion. Tattoos have to make some semblance of sense. If an immortal decides not to have anything that does something "awesome", it's still awesome to have. When an immortal tattoos you, it's the immortals way of saying to that player, "Okay, you get it, you can teach other players about it.". It isn't about the idea of giving that player a power that makes them tougher. Sometimes it works out that way though. I know it has for me in a few instances. But, there have been plenty of times where it hasn't.

Yeah, I have to agree there, sorry Baer, but the favorite tattoo I ever had was Grummorum's when I was Ulfin. It was my first ever tattoo, and it didnt do anything but shake when you invoked it, no progs, but I thought I was king of the world because I had it.

Because Tattoo's are RP and not really all that powergamey by design. I've never gotten one that I did not appreciate however. I view them as cool rewards for good RP.

Said it before and I'll say it again: Rayihn's tattoo is solid. Potent. Not as flashy as some of the others, but tres useful.

And nobody will ever accuse me of kissing the staff's ass, so take my word for it.

I actually think it's better and a lot more useful than Baer's, but maybe that's just me. :)

Way way way underpowered.

Ysal's tat, from what I saw, kicks ass. And it has a feature I never even got to test out, but man, it is just awesome when you find out what it does. I know we can't say powers and all, but trust me, if you can get it, it has some great perks, especially for certain builds.

Lets see some dwarves going Ysaloerye instead of the Thror route!

I cant remember the last time i even saw her visible. I know alot of Imms arent, but i dont like to go spamming prays all times of the day hoping to find the needle in the haystack

More useful in select environments...But wicked.


Baertat=All around useful.
Nelly tatt = holy####wtfawesome for empowerment classes, if not just for the extra OOMPH.
And twist's....Just because he is a bad ass.
